It began with a vision.
Dr. Robert Jochim is a highly respected physician and community leader in Cottonwood, Arizona. Born and raised in the state of Arizona, Dr. Jochim has dedicated his life to serving his community and helping people in need.
Dr. Jochim opened his practice in Cottonwood in 1974. Dr. Jochim graduated from the Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in 1965. He works in Cottonwood, AZ, and specializes in Family Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology.
After completing his residency, Dr. Jochim moved to Cottonwood, where he began his medical practice. He quickly became known in the community for his compassionate and personalized approach to patient care. Dr. Jochim is board-certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing in Cottonwood for over 25 years.
In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Jochim is actively involved in the community. He is a member of the Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce, the Verde Valley Medical Center Foundation, and the Cottonwood Lions Club. He has also served on the board of directors for the Verde Valley Caregivers Coalition and the Verde Valley Medical Center.
Dr. Jochim has received numerous awards and recognitions throughout his career, including being named one of the Top Doctors in Arizona by Phoenix Magazine. He is known for his commitment to providing the highest quality care to his patients and for his dedication to improving the health and well-being of the Cottonwood community.

Meet Cathleen, a warm and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of clinical experience in diverse settings. Cathleen is a dedicated healthcare professional who strives to provide holistic, high-quality care to patients of all ages. She is adept at completing age-appropriate examinations, ordering the correct labs, and prescribing medical interventions to manage both acute and chronic medical issues.
Cathleen has a passion for building relationships with her patients and creating a sense of trust and care. She is proficient in educating patients and their families in procedures and is dedicated to assisting patients with living long-term issues and improving overall well-being through treatment and optimal life choices.
As a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, Cathleen has proven skills in helping both pediatric and adult patients. She is experienced in completing physical assessments, evaluating medical records, and coordinating service referrals. Cathleen also has expertise in management and supervision of medical staff and is skilled in inpatient teaching with a strong emphasis in critical care, case management, and administration.

Most frequent questions and answers
Generally we have paperwork for you to fill out, so coming about 15 minutes prior to your appointment will help us get you set in our system.
Our billing partners will accept most insurance and we work hand in hand to make sure you get the care you need.
If you are getting labs or imaging done then we usually get those back within one to two weeks. We will schedule a follow up to go over everything with you.
We generally require an appointment, but in some situations we can see patients same day. Just go over to our contact page and call or message us.
We do send prescriptions to your pharmacist of choice and can call in prescription refills.
